The Idaho Cutting Horse Association put on a fabulous fashion show. Many local boutiques participated as well as many local queens. Miss Idaho, Lisa Hamman modeled a leather jacket, dark-denim jeans and accessories from American Clothing Gallery of Boise.
Miss Idaho International 2008. Currently, Lisa is in her junior year. She is a full-time student studying mass communications with a minor in marketing. Lisa is very grateful to have been accepted into the Channel 6 News Internship Program. This is the first of many stepping stones in her ambition to become a national broadcast journalist. For the past three years, she has been continuing her education all the while supporting herself by working full-time at Banner Bank as a personal banker.
In her spare time, Lisa works with Susan G Komen For the Cure and the American Cancer Society on her quest to support Woman's Cancer Awareness. She first became involved with these organizations when cancer hit too close to home. Watching friends and family members battle cancer, and then being touched by it herself gave Lisa the inspiration to help woman fight cancer. She also knows how important personal time is, so when not volunteering, Lisa makes sure that she finds time to play softball, scrapbook and spend time with her family and friends.
